: Nick Cross is a Eureka Springs native with a passion for the outdoors. He has worked as a field instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) for the past five years, leading backpacking, rock climbing and caving expeditions in Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Nevada and Arizona. His love of the Ozarks has inspired him to organize the XTERRA Eureka Springs - Off-Road Triathlon and Trail Run in an effort to promote Eureka Springs as an outdoor recreation destination.
