Zeek Taylor is known for his stylized watercolors. Primarily using a dry brush technique, he is able to achieve intricate detail not often found in this medium. He favors transparent paints which give great luminosity to his work. Subject matter includes florals, still life, animals, and fantasy themes.

An Arkansas native, Taylor studied painting at Arkansas State University, Washington University, and the Memphis College of Art. A former art teacher, he now resides and maintains a studio in Eureka Springs, AR. An avid gardener, his love of flowers is evident in his work. One reviewer stated, "only an expert watercolorist can give such full buoyancy to florals". He has been described as a colorist with a keen sense of pattern. An intricate hand-painted border surrounds each image.

Taylor has been the subject of many one-man-shows and his work has been distributed nationwide as limited-edition prints and decorator pillow tops. Years of perfecting a unique style of painting has made each piece recognized as a "Zeek Taylor".
