Beauty surrounds us in bewildering diversity when we look for it in the people and the world around us. There is beauty in a flower or a weed, in a mountain or a desert, in a child or an old woman and there is beauty in emotions. Painting is a way to communicate my emotions. It is a reproduction of my feelings. It's like a journal to me - it leaves a permanent record that is unchanging. My work represents a kaleidoscope of my travels and life experiences and includes oils, watercolors and pen and ink drawings.
